These sculptures are non-objective which leaves the viewer an opportunity to see whatever they might want to. In my mind they are simply three dimentional designs using many different design elements the viewer might find interesting.
My formal design training includes a Bachelor's in Studio Art (double major with biology) and a Masters in Architecture.
I have created these bronze pieces through the lost wax casting process. In selecting patinas I have, in most cases, used a variety of colors rather than more traditional bronze finishes. With a background in both biology and architecture, I enjoy combining organic and linear shapes into my sculpture. I consider creating a work out of seemingly non-related parts very interesting.
All pieces are available for sale. If interested please contact me.
